Katherine Roy was born and raised in California. She graduated with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2004 with a BFA in Illustration and a Concentration in English. Katherine has lived aboard a wooden schooner, traveled in 14 countries, and spent her senior year studying in Rome, Italy, where she drew a lot and tried to learn Italian. She loves swing dancing, chocolate and good stories.

Katherine is currently working on projects in children's education/literature, and series of greeting cards with with Tim Stout. She is available for freelance work.
